EnergyConnect is a 900 km long interconnector in Australia, which will enable the sharing of energy between New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria for the first time. The interconnector will be monitored by Power Quality meters UP-2210 from Unipower.
Transgrid and ElectraNet are partnering to deliver an energy interconnector between the power grids of South Australia and New South Wales, with an added connection to Victoria.
Transgrid is building the 700 km NSW section from the South Australian border to Wagga Wagga, and South Australia’s ElectraNet has started building the remaining 200 km from the border to Robertstown, SA.
Unipower will deliver UP-2210 units to the project to permanently monitor power quality on the interconnector. Both Transgrid and ElectraNet have been Unipower customers for years.
