Power Quality in focus at training course in Zambia

November 16-18 Unipower held a Power Quality and Energy Efficiency Training Course together with ABB at the Kafue Gorge training centre in Zambia.

Participants from several south and east African countries learned about power quality, energy management and also how to use a power quality management system.

ABB presented solutions for different power quality problems.

The students also visited the Kafue Gorge hydropower station with 6 turbines with a total generating capability of 990 MW.
